    Churches Housing is an ecumenical organisation established to give churches information and practical assistance about how to develop affordable, secure and appropriate community housing for people on a low income and special needs.
  • Homelessness NSW
    Homelessness NSW is a broad based peak body whose members include services that provide accommodation, support and other services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
  • Yfoundations
    Yfoundations is a peak body that seeks to advocate for and improve access to support services for young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness in NSW.
  • NSW Women's Refuge Movement
    The NSW Women's Refuge Movement is a network of 57 women’s refuges across NSW who provide supported accommodation and other options for women and children living with or escaping domestic violence.
  • Shelter NSW
    Shelter NSW is a non-government, non-profit, social change agency committed to working for a fair and just housing system. Shelter NSW advocates for the housing interests of low-income and disadvantaged people, and provide community education to build the capacity of non-profit organisations to provide housing and housing-related services.
  • NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal
    The NCAT provides an independent, low cost and accessible dispute resolution forum to the people of NSW in relation to tenancy matters, including in relation to community housing.
  • Housing Appeals Committee
    The Housing Appeals Committee is an independent agency that can review administrative decisions made by a social housing provider such as decisions about eligibility, allocations, rent subsidies and transfers.
  • Tenants' Union of NSW
    The Tenants' Union of NSW is the main resourcing body for the network of Tenants' Advice and Advocacy Services and a community legal centre specialising in NSW residential tenancies law.
  • Tenants' Advice and Advocacy Services
    The network of Tenants' Advice and Advocacy Services (TAASs) provide free information, advice and advocacy to renters in their local areas.The TAASs assist renters in private rental housing, social housing tenants, boarders and lodgers, and land lease community residents.

    The NSW Ombudsman investigates and reports on complaints about the conduct of public sector agencies and their staff in NSW, including the office of the Registrar of Community Housing.
