The Registrar of Community Housing is responsible for registering, monitoring and regulating community housing providers in NSW under the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH) and the NSW Local Scheme. The Registrar is an independent statutory officer reporting directly to the Minister for Housing.

We are pleased to announce the release of our Inaugural Sector Performance Report 2023.
Our very first consolidated Sector Performance Report has been finalised by our office. This redesigned report, for the first time, provides insights on regulatory performance, trends and patterns across all three tiers of the community housing sector for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.

We are pleased to announce the release of our Annual Statement of Performance for financial year 2022-23.
This report details our work in regulating Community Housing Providers with a NSW remit under the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH) and the NSW Local Scheme (Local Scheme). It also provides an in-depth look at what we have achieved over the year and the performance of our office in ensuring a well-governed, well-managed and viable community housing sector.
