The Registrar of Community Housing provides assurance for a viable and diverse community housing sector that supports people in need in NSW.
The Registrar is an independent statutory officer responsible for administering the regulatory system and Regulatory Code for Community Housing Providers under the Housing Act 2001 (NSW).
The Registrar is also commissioned by the Aboriginal Housing Office to undertake and report on performance assessments of Aboriginal community housing providers in the Provider Assessment and Registration System (PARS) under the Aboriginal Housing Act 1998 (NSW) more
