The Registrar of Community Housing has released the program of briefing sessions for organisations scheduled for registration from January-June 2010.
The Registrar is hosting briefing sessions throughout NSW in October 2009 on the new regulatory system for NSW community housing providers.
Representatives from organisation scheduled for registration from January-June 2010 have been invited to attend a session.
The registration briefing session will cover:
- The role of the Registrar of Community Housing
- The Housing Act and Regulatory Code
- The Registration Process
- The Evidence Guidelines
- The Application Form
- Financial Viability

Registrar of Community Housing, Roxane Shaw said she was looking forward to meeting representatives from community housing organisations at the sessions.
“There was a great response to the sessions held in May,” Ms Shaw said.
“They are a great opportunity to answer questions and discuss how you can prepare for making your registration application. I encourage all organisations scheduled for registration in the first half of next year to attend.”
