All Aboriginal community housing providers will have the chance to be assessed under the Provider Assessment and Registration System (PARS).
A program of PARS assessments has been developed by the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO). Each Aboriginal community housing provider will be allocated to a time on the program of PARS assessments and will be invited to apply.
All providers were written to in May 2010 regarding the PARS registration program and information sessions.
Prior to participating in PARS, Aboriginal community housing providers are encouraged to learn as much as possible about PARS and the registration requirements.
To assist providers, the PARS team is holding briefing sessions on PARS throughout NSW. Providers are encouraged to contact their AHO Regional Office or visit the Registrar of Community Housing website for the schedule of these sessions.
